A Wood Finish Glenmorangie, matured for Ten Years in Barrels of American Oak and finished for Two Years in oak casks previously filled with Premier Cru red burgundy, then bottled at traditional strength without chill-filtering.

Nose - At full strength, the richness of dark chocolate and toffee are first discovered with the fruitness of orange peel, followed by intriguing spices (cinnamon and sandalwood), deep oak notes and hazelnotes.
With water, the rich vinous notes emerge with a burst of juicy soft fruits (peaches and plums). Then a toasted nutty aroma of roasted chestnuts and hazelnuts emerges with vanilla grape must and traces of beeswax.
Taste - Full and warming with a tingle and lightly chewing mouthfeel.
initially, tantalising spices tingle on the tongue, followed by hints of rich red vinous notes with blackberries and plums. Later, dark chocolate and mint are discovered with almonds and grape.
