The Dalmore - Castle Leod - In 1263, an ancestor of Clan Mackenzie saved King Alexander III from being gored by a stag whilst out hunting. The grateful king granted him the right to bear a stag's head in his coat of arms.
The Mackenzie family owned the Dalmore distillery for almost a century. Their defining influence remains, with the iconic Royal Stag's Antlers adorning every bottle of The Dalmore
The second in a series of Limited Edition special Releases. The master distiller Richard Paterson has crafted this outstanding vintage 1995 Dalmore in homage to Castle Leod, the historic seat of the Clan Mackenzie for the last 500 years.
The Dalmore will make a substantial contribution from the sale of this stunning single malt to support Castle Leod.

The Dalmore Vintage 1995 was initially matured in American White Oak and spanish sherry wood, before being transferred for a final 18 months to barriques from a legendary 1st cru classe Bordeaux Chateau, It's an exceptional single malt of Immitable Finesse.
