Caol Ila 1998 Connoisseurs Choice Whisky
Islay - These whiskies are the most pungent on nose and palate of all whiskies. They are noted for peaty, medicinal, briny and seaweedy character.
Caol Ila has remained almost as a secret Islay malt. The name is pronounced 'Cull-eela', Gaelic for 'Sound of Islay'. The Caol Ila Distillery is lovated in cove near Port Askaig.

Nose - Heavily malty, fresh with a subtle hint of smoke.
Palate - Sweet and mouth warming. With a delicate sweet cured.
Body - Light
